The Quintessential Palm Oil: For People, Planet and Profit

The Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) has produced a book entitled ‘The Quintessential Palm Oil: For People, Planet and Profit’.

This is the second book based on beautiful images – in particular, winning entries – from the MPOC’s World Palm Portraits photography competition.

The 60-page book encompasses the characteristics and value of palm oil in our world. It presents the environmentally-friendly traits of palm oil, as well as its health attributes and contribution to food security for the rising global population.

At the same time, unscrupulous discrimination and allegations against palm oil are addressed. Eight attractive infographics explain the facts on palm oil.

The book is for sale at RM20/US$20 and may be purchased from Malaysian Palm Oil Council.
